A couple of weeks ago I created an oval-shaped Easter Basket using the Basket Weave Embossing Folder (part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle Free with a $100 order until March 31st). My new basket is a variation on that same design. It’s taller and rounder than my first basket and that makes it perfect for holding a larger single egg, all the way from a Cadbury Cream Egg to a regular chicken egg. This little basket is made by scoring and embossing a piece of card stock. It’s fast to make and and perfect for handing out at Easter or as a decoration for your Easter table. Find out how to make it with my video tutorial below.
Supply List HERE!
- Basket Base: 6-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. On 3-1/2″ side, score at the 1-1/2″ mark. Turn a quarter turn to right. Score PARTWAY to the first score line at the 1-1/2″, 3″ and 4-1/2″ marks. Score all the way at the 6″ mark.
- See video for how to align Basket Weave Embossing Folder.
- Handle: 6″ x 1/2″. Align the strip along one of the cables on the cable knit embossing folder and run through the Big Shot.
