Christmas Bingo

We played Christmas Bingo at my November Stamp Club. I wanted to showcase the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set. I think this set is a “must have”, because those little images are great for decorating everything from corners of envelopes to ornaments. Even though there are only 24 images, you can make more bingo images by stamping some of the images in different colors (for example: the cardinal can also be a blue jay). I punched the bingo covers with the 3/4″ punch out of scrap pieces of Real Red and Garden Green card stock. The scallop edge pieces are the calling pieces. I pulled these out of an extra clam shell case. I also randomized the images so that each card was different. Everyone was a winner. I’ll post the prizes I gave out tomorrow.

Supplies
Stamp Sets: Bingo Card, Jolly Bingo Bits; Card Stock: Garden Green, Real Red, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla; Ink: Garden Green, Real Red, Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point; Punches: Scallop Edge, 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle, 1-3/8″ Circle, 3/4″ Circle; Real Red 5/8″ Grosgrain; Jumbo 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Brads, Sponge Dauber, Distressing Tool

Question: Anonymous asked: “How many calling pieces & bingo cover pieces did you use?”I believe I had thirty different calling pieces total and twenty-five cover pieces per card. However, if I were doing this again I would up the number of calling pieces by at least 5 to 10. With thirty calling pieces the game worked best if Bingo was gained by just getting one row. When we played to get the letter ‘S’, most people got an ‘S’ (or practically a blackout) at the same time. The number of cover pieces needed could be reduced if only playing for rows. I hope that helps.
