Easter Blossoms Card

I just love silhouette stamps and when I saw the Easter Blossoms stamp set, I immediately knew that it had to be mine. I designed this card for an upcoming Easter-themed stamp club workshop. The little rosette on this card is made with Seam Binding Ribbon. If you would like to learn how to make your own rosette, please see my Ribbon Rosette Video Tutorial in my earlier blog post.

Details: I stamped the tree branch in Soft Suede and colored it with a Rose Red marker and white gel pen first before running it through the Big Shot with the framed tulips Embossing Folder. I sponged the framed tulips with Crumb Cake Ink and a sponge dauber. I framed the oval girl piece with two layered scallop circles. If you look closely you will see where the overlap is. When I stamped the girl onto the oval, there was a little white gap underneath her, which I filled in with a Not Quite Navy Marker.

Supplies: Easter Blossoms Stamp Set; Card Stock: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Rose Red, Very Vanilla; Ink: Not Quite Navy, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake; 2-3/8” Scallop Circle Punch; Markers: Rose Red, Not Quite Navy; White Gel Pen; Big Shot; Framed Tulips Embossing Folder; Ovals Die; Sponge Dauber.

If you have a question, please post a comment and I will update my blog with your answer. Thanks for visiting!!
