I created this umbrella favor box for a friend who was hosting a bridal shower. She wanted the box in the shape of an umbrella and after playing around a bit, I came up with this design. This box is suitable for candy or another small favor. If you would like to make your own umbrella-shaped favor boxes, please follow my tutorial below.
Step 1 Handles
Print off the shower umbrella handle template onto card stock. Cut out a handle (there are 5 handles on each page).
Step 2 Umbrellas
Step 7 Box
Shortcuts for mass production:
- Cut up to 3 scallops circles at a time with your Big Shot.
- Cut a scallop circle in half and use as a template to trace the halfway line on all the scallop circles. (use with step 3)
- Cut a scallop circle in half and trace 3 ovals onto the cut edge. Punch with the Extra-Large Oval Punch. Now you can use this as a template for all of your scallop circles. (use with step 4)
