I created this basket for the Creative Crew color challenge. The challenge colors were: Daffodil Delight, So Saffron and Blushing Bride with any neutral. Of course, I couldn’t just make one basket and that’s why I have added a few other color combos.
I came up with the idea for this basket after playing with the punched pieces of the Blossom Punch one evening. I just love how when this basket comes together it looks like a flower. It would be great for Easter, for showers, party favors or even as a place card holder.
If you would like to make your own Blossom Punch Basket just watch my Youtube video below.
The main body of the basket requires 7 blossom punch pieces: 1 Lucky Limeade, 3 So Saffron, 3 Blushing Bride (or Marina Mist or Wisteria Wonder). I stamped the pieces with the Mixed Bunch stamp and matching ink and then punched them out. The stamp gives the blossoms extra detail. I punched the handle from an 8-1/2″ x 1″ strip of Lucky Limeade and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The assembly of these pieces is shown in the video.
