Birthday Basics Card 2

Did I already tell you how much I love the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper? I just love this new DSP for making quick and easy birthday cards. For this card I cut an oval with the Big Shot and the Ovals Collection Framelits. I then came in with my small heart punch and punched the bottom of the oval. Easy-Peasy!

Here are a few tips. I adhered the birthday basics paper to an equal-sized piece of card stock before cutting it with the oval, to give it more stability. I then popped this piece up with dimensionals to give it more depth. I cut two pieces of taffeta. One for tying the bow and the other for creating the “string” to the edge of the card.
