Minute Mondays: You’re So Sweet DS

Minute Mondays, where I showcase quick cards

Today’s Minute Monday card is dedicated to the Stampin’ Up! Demo Support team during Demo Support Appreciation Week. Demo Support is who demonstrators call when we have a question, need a problem solved or need clarification on anything Stampin’ Up related. The really amazing part is that they always help out with such a cheerful attitude. It’s a pleasure to call them anytime. #WeLoveDS

My concept for this card was to make the greeting pop against the black with vivid colors. I did so by embossing the words more than once and paper-piecing them together. I loved how the black card turned out so much that I decided it would be fun to make one in white. Then I couldn’t decide which one I liked best, so I sent them both to demo support. What do you think? Do you like the black or white one best?

To find out more on how I made this card keep scrolling down. Find out the supplies you’ll need to make this card and where to get them HERE!

To create this card start off by embossing “You’re so Sweet” from the Countless Sayings 2 Stamp Set in White Embossing Powder on the corner of a 3-1/2″ x 5″ piece of Basic Black Card Stock.

Also emboss “You’re so Sweet” in White Embossing Powder on a scrap piece of Coastal Cabana Card Stock.

Cut out the thickest piece of all the letters from the Coastal Cabana Card Stock scrap and adhere them on top of the letters on the Basic Black piece.

Also emboss the heart from the Countless Sayings 2 Stamp Set in White Embossing Powder on a scrap piece of Strawberry Slush Card Stock and cut it and adhere it to the card. Then mount the Basic Black card front on a note card. Happy Stamping!
