We are settling in to our new home in the Boston area. I love Boston so far, especially my new friends and neighbors in the village of Auburndale. One of my neighbors dropped by this beautiful potted daisy this week and it inspired today’s card. Aren’t I a lucky girl?
This card is super easy to make with some die cuts and embossing folders. The “thank you” is heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Here are some of the details on how I made this card…
Cut two of the daisy-shaped flowers out of Whisper White Card Stock with the Flower Fair Framelits. Next, cut along each side of the longer petals. Then bend each of the longer petals slightly upward. Adhere the two flowers on top of each other to make the daisy look nice and full.
Emboss a strip of Daffodil Delight Card Stock with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder. Punch out the center of the design using the 3/4″ circle punch. Adhere this piece to the center of the flower.
Cut two leaves out of Garden Green Card Stock with the Flower Fair Framelits. Run the leaves through the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder. If you center it properly the leaf matches one of the patterns in the embossing folder.
Cut a stem a 3/8″ x 4″ stem from a piece of Garden Green Card Stock. Mount all these pieces on a 3-1/2″ x 5″ piece of Marina Mist Card stock and then attach it to the front of a Whisper White Note Card. Happy Stamping!!
