I love cute stamps, so it was no wonder that I was immediately drawn to the “Little Buddy Birthday” stamp set. I also have fallen in love with the note cards and envelopes sets and this year they are offered in crumb cake. Well, I just had to find a way to combine the two and wouldn’t you know it, Blendabilities work marvelously on Crumb Cake card stock. I used the lightest shades of Coastal Cabana and Old Olive for the dinosaur, the medium shade of Crumb Cake on the Cake and the darkest shade of Daffodil Delight for the flames. If you are using Blendabilities on card stock you will want to use an extra layer of card stock for your top layer, because the colors will bleed through to the back. If you don’t want to purchase separate crumb cake card stock for this purpose, just cut a note card in half and use it as your top layer. All the supplies you’ll need to make this card are available for purchase below.
Last week I started sharing with you the sketches that I use for my note cards. These sketches can easily be filled in with different colors and images. Why don’t you give it a try? A Note Card front measures 3-1/2″ x 5″. The strips of card stock that I used measure 1/2″ x 3-1/2″ each. The black oval is where your image should go. Happy Stamping!!
