Triple Heart Easel Card Tutorial

Need a WOW “Knock your socks off” card for your Sweetheart on Valentine’s Day? Well, have I got something for you!! This triple heart easel card starts off flat, but then each layer lifts up and tucks into the one in front of it to create a beautiful Valentine to display. The idea for this brilliant card came from my talented downline Valli Henley. Please check out her original card HERE! Isn’t it cute?

This is an advanced card but I think it’s worth the effort. In the video above, I’ll show you how to make this card step-by-step. I’ve also included a quick reference guide below, so that you can watch the video without having to take notes.

Free Product, Free Tutorial!!!!
Place a $50* order in my online store January 6 – March 31, 2015 and receive a free sale-a-bration product from Stampin’ Up! You will also get a FREE tutorial from me. See your choices HERE! All the supplies you’ll need for this project are available for purchase HERE!

Quick Reference Dimensions
please watch the video for complete instructions

To make the folded hearts, fold the pieces below in half and burnish them with your bone folder. Using the magnetic platform, line up the bottom tip of the framelit heart on the open end of the folded piece. The sides of the heart should line up with the sides of the card stock. The top of the framelit heart should hang over the folded edge.

Big Heart (largest smooth heart framelit)
7-¼” x 4-½” Real Red Card Stock
On the long side, score at 3-5/8”

Medium Heart (2nd largest smooth heart framelit)
5-¾” x 3-5/8” Real Red Card Stock
On the long side score at 2-7/8

Small Heart (3rd largest smooth heart framelit)
4-½” x 2-¾” Real Red Card Stock
On the long side score at 2-¼”

To get the second fold in the folded hearts, open the folded heart. Line up one side along the top of the Simply Scored. Line up one heart tip along the left ruler. Then score at the following measurements.

Score the big heart at 2”
Score the medium heart at 1-½”
Score the small heart at 1-1/8”
