Accordion Tea Bag Holder

I’m a tea lover. Lately my morning cuppa is a mild flavored Darjeeling that I sweeten with a hint of maple syrup and mellow with a splash of milk. Soooo, when I saw the A Nice Cuppa Bundle, I knew it would be mine. I think I have shown amazing restraint in not using it sooner. This little tea bag holder is exactly the type of project I love to design, a fun 3D with bright colors. If you want to make this project just follow along with my video tutorial above. All the supplies you’ll need for this project are available for purchase HERE!

This tea bag holder is the perfect gift for the tea lover in your life. Fill it with an assortment of teas or the person’s favorite. It’s suited for birthdays, mother’s day or cute little luncheon or shower favors.

Quick Reference

  • Tea Bag Holder Outside: Cut a 10” x 3” piece of THICK Whisper White. On the 10” side, score at 4-1/4” and 5-3/4” marks. Fold along the score lines. Bring the ends together and punch a slot and then corners with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.
  • Accordion Sides: Cut a 6” x 4” piece of the Have a Cuppa DSP. On the 6” side score at every ½” interval. Fold along the score lines in an accordion pattern
  • Accordion Dividers: Cut SEVEN coordinating 3” x 2” pieces. Glue to the accordion sides.

Happy Stamping!!
