This is a special birthday card for a special friend. It’s a fancy fold card that has many different surfaces to decorate and embellish. I kept this card fairly simple, but you could take this base design and doll it up to your heart’s content. To create this card, you will need a paper trimmer that can cut precise windows (check my supply list below). I also decorated a matching mini pizza box to use as a gift box. Quick Reference
- Card Base: 11″ x 5-1/2″ piece of card stock
- On Stampin’ Trimmer
- On 11″ side, line up edge at 3-1/2″ mark, cut from 1″ to 4-1/2″
- Flip & Repeat for other side
- On 5-1/2″ side, line up edge at 4-1/2″ mark, cut from 3-1/2″ to 5-1/2″ AND 6 to 7-1/2″
- Flip & Repeat for other side
- On Simply Scored
- On 11″ side, score all the way at the 2-1/2″ and 8-1/2″ marks
- Score just until the first cut line at the 5″, 5-1/2″ and 6″ marks
- Rotate 180 degrees and repeat
- Center Panel: use a 3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of designer series paper
- Bottom Panel: use a 5″ x 2″ piece of designer series paper
