Christmas Tree Advent Calendar Tutorial

Oh the joy of Advent Calendars!!  I have fond memories of opening Advent Calendars from my childhood and I’ve carried on that tradition with our son.  He’s 18 now, but I’m sure he won’t mind opening a door each day in December to retrieve a little chocolate.  This advent calendar design has been churning around in my head for about 2 years, but I wasn’t able to figure out how to make it work until this year.  The spaces for the candy are larger than my normal Hershey’s Kisses designs, so they can hold slightly larger candy.  I found that Hershey’s Nuggets, Kisses, Rolos and Dove Chocolates all fit inside, which gives you several options.  This Advent Calendar stands approximately 7″ tall.

All the supplies you’ll need to make this tutorial are shown below.  The KEY SUPPLIES you’ll need to make it are a scoring board, a cutter, 1-1/2″ Circle Punch, good quality card stock and Tombow Multipurpose Glue.  The OTHER SUPPLIES listed are for decorating the front of the tree.  If you spend at least $15* in My Stampin’ Store, you can choose this tutorial for free.
