Star Fold Card

Star Fold Cards

You may have seen Star Fold Cards before, but my version is a little different and allows you to use 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock for the base.  The new Stitched Triangles Dies and the Tree Angle Stamp Set make this card super easy to decorate.  Also, I will also show you how to make an envelope to fit these star fold cards using the Simply Scored Scoring Board. On Saturday I will send a Project Sheet for the Star Fold Card to my Email List Subscribers. If you would like to see how I made this box, just watch my video below.

Very cute idea. I look forward to trying it. I do have a question though, on the new die cutting machine, how wide is the center canal area where the embossing folders go? How many inches. I didn’t always get the 3 D embossing folders on fllush & have many that are ‘smoshed” on the sides. thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity

Thank you! I just measured the width and it’s about 6-1/2″. It’s definitely wider than the Big Shot was, so I don’t think we will have that “smooshing” of the edges of the embossing folders anymore. I’m really happy with the new machine.

WOW Brenda this video is just so easy to follow. I have been trying to make a star card for so long, so having these new measurements ais wonderful. As this is a 6 pointed star it is great for Jewish cards as well.
Thank you so much. Stay safe.

Hi Betty, I’m so glad that you found my tutorial helpful. I changed one of the measurements on the project sheet to make the star fold easier to come together, so make sure you download it from the email. Have a Happy Weekend! Brenda
