The card on page 53 of the January-June Mini Catalog intrigued me from the first time I saw it. The little woodland critters stretched into a long card makes for a very fun birthday card. The fold itself is simple enough, but there are a few little tricks that will help you make this card. On Saturday I will send out a handy Project Sheet for making this card to my Email List Subscribers. If you want to make this card with me, see my VIDEO TUTORIAL and SUPPLY LIST below.

Brenda I was just watching your tutorial with Woodland Wonder. Love the card.
I saw the back of your card and it looks like you have
Minimal color coming through to the back compared to mine. Am I too heavy with my blends?

Hi Kay, I’m so glad you love the card. When coloring with any kind of alcohol marker there will be bleeding. Mine may have bled through a little less, but you have to color it to your satisfaction and that sometimes means that you will have significant bleed through on the back. If it bothers you, could could line the back with equal sized pieces of Basic White Cardstock. Use the lighter weight one (not the thick) and cut pieces to match the 2 panels that fold out. Cut the pieces just a wee bit shorter to avoid the score lines so that it will still fold together properly. I hope this helps. Take care, Brenda
