It’s been over 2 years since I’ve been back to my hometown to see my family. I will finally get to see them again in September. When I was young I remember the hillsides being flush with Arrowleaf Balsamroot in Spring. The photo below was taken on a hike 2 years ago and you can just see some of the beautiful flowers lighting up the background. They bring back memories of my childhood.
My card today is inspired by the flowers of my childhood. I used the flower stalk from the Enjoy the Moment stamp set and added some Medium Daisy Punch pieces to create a flower. The background is created with strips of embossed Crumb Cake CS. Remember to Enjoy the Moments in your life, even the ones that might seem trivial at the time.
