This year I neglected to purchase any stamp set with a fall theme, so for this card I decided to give the roses from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set the feel of fall leaves. I used sponge daubers and a water painter to color the roses. This stamp set also comes with a variety of useful greetings. The layout for this card is from this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday sketch.

- Card Base: Start with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Old Olive CS. On the long side, score at the 4-1/4″ mark. Fold along the score line. Stamp some roses on the card front in Old Olive ink.
- Very Vanilla Layer: Cut a 4″ x 3-3/4″ of Thick Very Vanilla CS. Stamp 2 roses images onto the CS in Tuxedo Black Ink. Heat set with Heat Tool. Use sponge daubers with ink pads to color the flowers and leaves. Use a Water Brush to more around and soften the ink. Adhere to the card front.
- Greeting Layer: Die cut a label (Stylish Shapes Dies) out of Sahara Sand CS. Stamp a greeting in Old Olive Ink. Use Tear & Tape to adhere a piece of ribbon to the back of the label. Adhere the label with ribbon to the card front with Dimensionals.
- Embellish with Festive Pearls.
