I love nature-themed birthday cards. I made this card using the Perched in a Tree Stamp Set and the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. CASE-ing Tuesday
My card was CASE’d from page 34 of the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.
Instructions
- Card Base: Start with an 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Early Espresso CS. On the long side, score at the 5-1/2″ mark. Fold along the score line.
- Designer Series Paper Layer: Cut a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Painted Christmas Paper. Adhere to the card front.
- Focal Point Layer: Cut a 3″ x 3-1/2″ Basic White CS. All stamping will be done in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp the branch on a diagonal, the bird with its feet on top of the branch and a greeting at the bottom right. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the card front.
- Embellish with a Baker’s Twine Bow tied and some Champagne Jewels.
