Gingerbread Man Cookie Gift Box

Happy Friday! Today I’m making a Gingerbread Man themed box that holds a large homemade Gingerbread Man Cookie or Pepperidge Farm Gingerman Cookies. The box is made with the Gingerbread Man Bundle. I sized it to fit a 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ gingerbread man made with the largest cookie cutter in this gingerbread man cookie cutter set and placed inside a 4″ x 6″ cellophane bag. These Gingerbread Man Cookies and matching boxes make great Christmas gifts.

I used Sally’s Baking Addiction Gingerbread Man Cookie Recipe and 1/2 her Royal Icing Recipe to make my cookies. With Sally’s excellent instructions my cookies only expanded 1/8″. You could also make a Gingerbread Man Salt Dough Ornament (recipe here) with the same cookie cutters if you wanted to give an ornament instead. This project would be great to make with kids. They could decorate the card stock gingerbread man and the cookie/ornament one.

Check out the complete supply list below.  If you would like a free project sheet for this box, make sure you are on my Email List.
