Fluffy Squirrel Christmas Card

Happy Tuesday!  Today I’m making a cute Christmas card using the Fluffy Squirrel Bundle. This card was inspired by fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrator Sherry Irving. The squirrel is on a wobble which makes the squirrel shake when the card is touched or moved. I’m sharing a video recording today because I’m at a Stampin’ Up conference this week. I will be back next week with my regular Tuesday live. The card front layout is from our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My cards were CASE’d from page 49 of the 2025 Holiday Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.

Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Garden Green CS.  Score in half at the 4-1/4″ mark.  Fold along the score line.
2. Designer Series Paper: Cut a 5-1/2″ x 2″ piece of Christmas Tags & More DSP. Adhere to card.
3. Big Banner: Cut a 3-3/8″ wide banner out of Basic Beige CS. Adhere to card
4. Christmas Tree: Stamp a Christmas Tree (Pine Tree Trimmings Bundle) in Garden Green ink on Garden Green CS. Die cut.
5. Squirrel: Stamp the bold squirrel in Pecan Pie ink and the outine squirrel in Tuxedo Black Ink. Punch out with the matching punch.
6. Acorns: Stamp five acorns in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic Beige CS. Punch out with the squirrel punch. Color the acorn tops with the Poppy Parade and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends. Adhere the acorns to the tree and one to the squirrel.
7. Greeting Banner: Cut a 3″ x 3/4″ piece of Poppy Parade CS. Center the 2-3/8″ wide banner over this banner and die cut. Stamp the “Go Nuts” (Fluffy Squirrel Stamp Set) and the “Christmas Time is Here” (A LIttle Cheer Stamp Set) greetings in Tuxedo Black Ink.
8. Adhere all the pieces to the card front.
