Simply Beautiful Flip Card

Happy Tuesday!  Today I’m making a beautiful birthday card using the Simply Beautiful Bundle. and the Beautifully Celebrated Dies. This card has an easy to make flip element that adds a wow actor to the card. The card front layout was inspired by our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My card was CASE’d from page 26 of the 2026 Jan-April Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 11″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Basic White CS. On the long side, score at the 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″ mark.
2. Flip Window: Place the 2nd largest label die on the 2-3/4″ line and cut just half of the die into the card base. The half that is closest to the end edge.
3. Folding: Fold the card in half and then fold the front back along the 2-3/4″ score line, leaving the label flat.
4. Labels: Cut a white label and a DSP label with the 3rd largest die. Adhere the DSP to the inside of the card and the white label to the outside. Decorate the front with die cut flowers and leaves.
5. Greeting: Stamp and punch out a greeting for the inside and outside of the card using the Banner Sayings Bundle.
6. Inside Pieces: Cut a 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of DSP and the same size Basic White. Adhere to the inside of the card overlapping the DSP onto the white.
7. Finishing: Tie a ribbon around the card.
8. Envelope: Start with a 9″ x 9″ piece of 2-tone paper. On the diagonal score at the 3-1/8″ and 8-7/8″ marks. On the other diagonal score at the 3-1/8″ and 8-7/8″ marks again. Cut the triangles away from the edges. Use a corner round to round all 4 corners. Then fold along the scores lines. Glue the side flaps and the bottom flap together.
