Sweet Old Bear Cards

Happy New Catalog Day!  It’s the start of the May-Aug Catalog and the May Online Exclusives! We also have a new May product of the month.

Today I’m making 2 sweet cards using the new Sweet Old Bear Suite Collection (a collection of products featuring the old style Pooh Bear & friends). All the products in the suite can be purchases individually. The card front layout was inspired by our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My card was CASE’d from Page 68 of the 2026 May-Aug Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.

Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Golden Glow CS. On the long side, score at the 4-1/4″ mark. Fold along the score line.
2. DSP: Cut a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of DSP. Adhere to the card.
3. Labels: Cut a 4-5/8″ wide label in Golden Glow CS, a 4-1/4″ wide label in Early Espresso CS, a 3-7/8″ wide label in Basic White CS. Adhere together and then adhere to the card.
4. Pooh & Piglet: Stamp the image of Pooh & Piglet in Basic Black Hybrid Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Die cut with matching die. Adhere to card with Dimensionals.
5. Greeting: Die cut a long skinny label out of Basic White CS. Use the 2-1/8″ wide die to cut the label smaller. Stamp a greeting in Basic Black Hybrid Ink. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.
6. Finishing: Decorate the card front with some Antique Pearls.
