Lily of The Valley Birthday Card

Today I’m making a birthday card using the Lily of the Valley Bundle and the matching Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper. It’s easy to make a Lily of the Valley flower with just a little die-cutting and touching up the stem with an Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The card front layout was inspired by our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My card was CASE’d from Page 37 of the 2026 May-Aug Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.

Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Darling Duckling CS. On the long side, score at the 5-1/2″ mark. Fold along the score line.
2. DSP: Cut a 4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of DSP. Adhere to the card.
3. Banner: Cut a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of DSP. Use the 2-3/4″ wide Party Banners Die to cut just the short end of this piece (roll through the die cutting machine just until the banner end is under the roller and then reverse). Adhere to the card.
4. Lily of the Valley: Cut two Lily of the Valley stems out of Basic White. Color the stem with an Old Olive Blends. Cut two leaves out of Old Olive CS. Adhere the stems and the leaves to the card.
5. Greeting: Stamp Happy Birthday on a scrap piece of Basic White CS. Die cut with the smallest long skinny die (Sweet Words & Labels Dies). Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.
6. Finishing: Tie a bow from Linen Thread. Adhere to the card. Embellish with Dewdrops Embellishments.
