Festive Cheer Christmas Card

Today I will be making a Christmas card using the Festive Cheer Bundle. The card uses a Stampin’ Positioner Technique that I will share in my video. The card front layout was inspired by our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My card was CASE’d from Page 54 of the 2026 May-Aug Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.

Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Granny Apple Green CS. On the long side, score at the 4-1/4″ mark. Fold along the score line.
2. Background Layer: Cut TWO pieces of 4″ x 4-1/4″ Two-Tone Granny Apple Green CS. Use a Stampin’ Positioner to stamp the dark side of one and the light side of the other with the Sweet Foliage Background Stamp. Cut both pieces into one inch strips on the 4″ side. Alternate the strips light-dark-light-dark (making sure to keep the pattern intact). Adhere to the card.
3. Greeting Layer: Stamp the greeting in Granny Apple Green Ink. Cut out with a banner die (Stylish Shapes Die). Adhere to the card.
4. Ornaments: Stamp the ornaments in three colors (Azure Afternoon, Golden Glow and Poppy Parade). Stamp the outlines full strength and the fill with ink that has been stamped off. Cut out the ornaments with the matching dies. Adhere to the card.
5. Ornament Details: Cut THREE ornament toppers and adhere them to the tops of the ornaments. Cut THREE 1/16″ x 3″ wide strips of Silver Foil. Adhere to the back of the ornaments with Dimensionals. Arrange on the card with the greeting layer. Then adhere all the pieces to the card starting with the greeting.
6. Finishing: Embellish with Metallic Gems.
