Christmas Mice Card

Today I made a sweet Christmas card with the Christmas Mice Bundle. The dies in this bundle were cleverly designed. I created a little mouse house on the card front with the included window frame die. I also love how the mice dies cut around the mice fore paws so that they can hold things. The card front layout was inspired by our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My card was CASE’d from Page 17 of the 2026 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.

Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Pool Party CS. On the long side, score at the 5-1/2″ mark. Fold along the score line.
2. Snow: Start with a 4-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ piece or Basic White CS. Tear along the long edge to create the look of snow.
3. House: Cut a 3-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Basic Beige CS. Cut a window center on this piece. Emboss with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder. Adhere a 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Window Sheet behind the window opening.
4. Window: Cut a window frame out of Cherry Cobbler CS. Adhere the frame to the window.
5. Tree and Background: Cut a tree out of Mossy Meadow CS. Decorate with Christmas Epoxy Shapes. Adhere into the window. Cut a 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Basic White CS. Use a blending brush and Lemon Lolly ink to add a yellow glow to the CS. Adhere behind the tree in the window opening.
6. Roof: Cut a 4″ x 1″ piece of striped DSP. Angle cut the roof 1″ in from the top and 1/4″ from the bottom. Adhere to the house piece. Adhere the roof/house piece to the card.
7. Greeting: Stamp “Merry Christmas” in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Basic White CS, cut out and adhere to the roof.
8. Mouse & Present: Stamp the mouse and present in black ink on Basic White CS, cut out with the matching dies and color with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.
9. Finishing: Embellish with a bow from a Cherry Cobbler strand of the Multicolor Christmas Baker’s Twine.
