Framed Violets Birthday Card

Today I will be making a birthday card using the Framed Violets. The card front layout was inspired by our CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge (see below).

CASE-ing Tuesday My card was CASE’d from Page 38 of the 2026 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. I hope you will join us.

Instructions

1. Card Base: Start with an 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Peaceful Pine CS. On the long side, score at the 5-1/2″ mark. Fold along the score line.
2. DSP Layer: Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of DSP. Adhere to the card.
3. Basic White Square: Use the largest square die (Stylish Shapes Dies) to cut a flower out of the DSP OR cut a square of Basic White CS. If using the Basic White square, stamp a violet cluster in black ink and color with Stampin’ Blends.
4. Banner Layers: Cut a banner out of Gorgeous Grape and DSP. Cut both in half and adhere to the Basic White Square. Adhere the square/banners piece to the card.
5. Greeting: Stamp “Happy Birthday” (Balloon Festoon Stamp Set) in Peaceful Pine Ink on Basic White CS and cut out.
6. Finishing: Embellish with sequins.
